Had a dry cough all day tried medicines no joy anyone got any cures no funny ones please start new job in and got a class to take

First of all, visit a doctor if its been going on for a while. Secondly try milk chocolate, it coats the throat. Yes, I'm being serious....

Boiling hot steamy bowl of water, drape a towel over your head and breathe in the steam. And a glass of warm milk with honey x

My nan used to make a concoction of butter sugar un vinegar. Worked a treat or it tastes so vile we got too scared to cough in front of her

Get a piece of fresh root ginger. Chop about a cm off and into slices. Put in a mug, pour on freshly boiled water and sip when cool enough. It really works at suppressing a tickly cough.

You can add honey or a slice of lemon to taste.

Cough medicines don't work so don't waste your money, if you've had it for a while though go to the doc you might have a chest infection. Failing that, man up and sit in out
