My washing machine packed up on me it's un-repairable so need a new one.

Any suggestions on any good ones?

Mine was a reconditioned one made by Tricity Bendix. Served me well!

I went to the shop where I got the one that's just packed up on me, was a reconditioned one and lasted well over 5 years. He said LG are good, there quite expensive though! Why so good?

I have a Zanussi 1600 spin speed. The extra speed makes drying towels etc so much easier in the winter months.

We have a Bosch, great machine.

Avoid Beko unless you want your house to burn down

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I have a Hotpoint. My last one was also a Hotpoint which my daughter now has - it's still going strong after 7 years.

I'd like to keep my place fire free, unless I'm causing the fireworks

You'd be better with a separate drier. Then you can wash and dry at the same time.. Instead of 4 hours for 1 load.
