Sometimes I f$cking hate computers.
So, now I shall be making an install disk with a service pack slipstreamed into it.
Joy.
And I can't even open a bottle of wine as I do it, (diet).

"May I point you to the wine B By Black tower. 55 calories a glass. Red, white or rose'.

Thank you. However, it's not calories that are the problem. I'm on a ketogenic diet, which means I am burning fat to produce ketones to fuel me. Alcohol is an alternate energy source and will muck up the fat burning process.
I also can't resort to chocolate or ice cream.
It's character building and I enjoy the challenge. If I tell myself that enough I might convince myself eventually. |

I got a new laptop a couple months ago, when my old one decided it did'nt want to play anymore, lol. Still not got around to making a backup disk for the new lappy yet, just hope it does'nt decide to throw a wobbler and develop some jargon filled fault before i get around to doing the back-up. So i feel your pain, computers are very annoying at times. |

acronos the hard drive after installing os and all your programs onto system hard drive then using another hard drive or disk/s or even usb stick just dont wipe the stick off and it installs everything back on in 6 mins to 14 mins
includes every program and everything that you first install onto it
this way if hard drive goes down get a new hd and reinstall from the acronos copy |

My 30 years experience in IT support tells me you can't slipstream drivers into the OS disk without opening the bottle of wine. |

Sorry but on this occasion you have been proven wrong. Service pack slipstreamed, no alcohol or sugar consumed and one laptop which has finally quit fighting.
I am victorious!!
And, as is evident, I didn't go to bed! |

I could pull out your power cable. That'd be... hmmm, what would the equivalent of a power cable be for a human?
Brain - CPU and RAM
Brain stem and spine - Bus
Perhaps the heart and blood vessels?
*wanders off to get some tools, pondering* |

After having PCs and Laptops for nearly 20...
All I read then was... Blah blah blah hard drive blah blah blah usb stick blah blah blah....
Not on mention of porn.... That's where you are going wrong. Computers are only ment for porn and games, if you demand more from them they break... |
