I would like to encourage members especially the females in chat to be carefull when discussing personal info in chat.. eg where they work, where they shop, where they live, phone numbers .....just for thier own personal saftey as thier could be some strange undesirable people using sites like these. It may be an innocent conversation but you dont know whos watching you. |

I think this advice should apply to all aspects of life and not just to the forums. In these days of community disintergration and increasing violence i should think we all need to be extra careful as to what information we give away to strangers and when meeting up with a 'date'.
Also having read a recent post on here about some nut job woman who attacked a single guy with boiling water it seems it's not just women who have to be vigilante and careful. |

A great bit of advice, we see too many people giving away too much information.
Even if it looks like innocent conversation the internet is a powerfull tool to finding what you want with the tiniest of info.

Made us think back to when we first started.. We had a meet with a couple, nothing much.. a few beers and a chat. On the way home we decided we didn't think they were for us.. nothing really clicked..
Next Morning.. the male half popped in to our workplace, just passing he said, went past your house but there was no one in. To say were were freeked is given fact..
The thing is we were careful about what we said.. never mentioned where we worked etc.. or recal saying where we lived but he knew loads.. He must have stitched together snippits over time!
Its seriously good advice!!

excellent advice. as anyone can find out anything they like. As also mentioned unless you have a friendship with people before you meet, Watch what you say.we all read these stories in magazines and think it wont happen to us, but it does and it can.

Extremely good advice, for everyone to follow. After all swinging is our personal lifestyle and everyone should respect the other's privacy. We do have some nasty stalkers about so we must be careful. |

Hav'nt had swinging problems but have had a normal life stalker which was a nightmare 
Its so easy to give info away when you don't even realise you're doing it
