I got into a pair of size 14 ones the other day in a Dotty P's changing room. Consider me well chuffed! I didn't buy them though, the ratio of fabric to price seemed fiscally irresponsible. |

ah but then you work out the PPW (price per wear) and it can seem a whole lot more reasonable... thats how I justify stupidly expensive shoes and corsets lol |

I like tight leggings on a toned pair of legs too, but still have to stick with the hot pants as my favourite, especially those cut to just show off the bottom of the buttocks, there's such a confident, in-your-face sexiness about them that I love. |

I bought a pair of denim shorts/hotpants and just tried them on.
They aren't fit for public use but decided I should do a fab pic of me wearing them....
And I'm a good girl, 'cos I did a forum search before starting a new topic   |

back in the 90s during my raving days, I used to wear hot pants all the time. My fave pair were black PVC (think kylie but black). My dad hated me wearing them! I wish I had kept and framed them just to remind myself that I did actually get into such items of clothing once! |

Oh, the nineties. I got rid of some of my nineties party outfits some years ago but held onto a few.
The memories and marvel that I wore some of those teeny hotpants, midriff exposing dresses and Lycra! Many moons and lbs ago

Round Newcastle the trend mostly seems to have been hijacked by 12 year olds Especially the ones cut so the pockets are longer than the shorts and there's good expanse of butt cheek on show. It's a bit disturbing. |

I had some faux leather ones circa 2000/2001. They probably wouldn't fit on my arm now. |

You should wear what you want too!
I'm way over 40 & have 2 pairs of denim short, not quite hot pants but short none the less. Always worn casually with flat sandals & a top / layered vests.
If I'm showing my legs in clothing I tend to keep the top part covered ~ basically tits & legs not on show at the same time lol. |
