If you block someone on facebook do they get told about it?
I blocked someone once and they emailed me asking why but not sure if that's because they got told or because they tried to look at my profile or what? |

No you won't get told you're blocked, they will know if they look for you and you don't come up in search |

I've been de-friended a few times, but that's not something that bothers me, as it has been from peeps I used to work with and we just added each other when we all got made redundant.
I've had to block a few people, though.
One who was turning it into ebay and flooding my wall with stuff for sale.
Another who was sharing racist posts.
And a lass I've known for yonks, but whose constant woe is me posts were getting too repetitive.

Oh god the 'woe is me' posts are rife on fb. It's mad the amount of negative people on there. Probably why they are on there. |

She was a wally with it, though. she was complaining of her staff without realising, till they posted on her wall about a lack of professionalism on her part, that she had them as friends. |

"No but if you got the who deleted me app you get a notification if someone has deleted you lol
Why would you want to know or care?
" Cos you can then inbox them and say.. thanks for deleting me, bye.
It means you would have the last word lol. |

If you just delete them they can still send messages to you, but... If you block them, they can't see anything you post even comments on others profiles, nor can they send you messages! |
