Just wondering, I've been looking for organise a party at my house, nothing sexual involved unless you wanna sneak off into the woods with your partener or preferred male or female of your choosing. But just something social for the swingers in the local area to meet and have a few drinks.
How would I go about doing it? Or would I be wasting my time? X |

I wouldn't be having a party for total strangers in my house. Ok a couple or so maybe but more than that a pub would be better or a venue. Why not try putting up a thread in meets and parties and see what interest you can develop first. |

First find a venue, choose a pub or cafe which is easy to find and has parking nearby and maybe a budget hotel handy. You want one which has plenty of space that is out of earshot of the staff and where you can set up camp in an area and people can swap swinging stories without worrying about being overheard. Try to find one with reasonable prices and if a pub one that serves reasonably priced snack food for sopping up alcohol.
Then pick your date and time. Avoid major sporting events, possibly even start a thread asking if people want midweek or weekend events in your area. Use the forum that fits where you live (not sure if you're in Wales or Scotland or if the UK one would fit best).
Then post a thread in meet requests and parties and possibly duplicate in whichever area forum suits. Do not post venue info, just date, time and area. Get a list together of attendees by getting people to post on the thread and/or pm you. A week before pm asking for a confirmation reply then send venue info out to those who reply. Oh and make yourself identifiable in the venue with a helium balloon ties to a chair, pick a random design not a birthday one and post on the thread what colour/design it is.
It can take a while but a well organised social can take off. |

Id expect to start small, as many can be unreliable, where no one knows others. Invite your friends too. Aim for a balance of types of people if possible. If you can think of a theme then that may make it seen more interesting, even if it is just a fab swinger inclined pub type quiz. For the first one aim for your cash layout to be minimal, in case numbers are low. There are some great ideas above so choose what seems to fit you. |

Thanks for input everyone :D! I'm looking into it now and will see what I find! Would love to organise things like this regularly but as we all know reliability is hard to find lol!
