The land of grey peas and bacon

I'm watching about the red arrows and I know they are not fighter jets.....however I've always heard that women can't be fighter pilots due to the altitude and it affects them more than men.... Am I being blonde in believing that this is true??

The RAF has female fighter pilots. I'm sure there was one in the news about being a woman in the RAF.

Usaf had women fighter pilots since the first gulf war. It may be that at one time the rationale given was on the physiological grounds you state but they must've overcome it somehow.

No it's not true. I am ex military and I have met a few female fighter pilots. Although I haven't met any, I think the Israeli Forces have had women in the air for a long time

I've just looked on Wiki and they were banned but that was lifted. Turkey wins the prize for having female fighter pilots since 1936.

I think altitude affects some people more than others. Regardless of gender or physical fitness.

Not much can be done about it. I have standards. At times it sucks to have them but better off in the long run. Lol.
