The way you register to vote is changing.
Hmm, well the only way from this letter I can see - it is changing is that now by default, your details are now on a register that may be sold to anyone, unless you call an 0800 number to have this changed.
Totally ignoring, that in every other year, you may have asked your name is not shown on the register available to every T.D & H.
Seems your vote matters but not your privacy!
I think it would have been a lot better to have made your previous preferences noted on the new system.
Maybe namby panby but it annoyed me as there is no web site listed nor a contact at the council, so they assume, IMHO, that you won't be bothered to call and they make money by selling the open register.
