Just about ANY film is better than the remake.
If a film is crap - then no one tries to remake.
If a film is great then a remake is made but normally is pointless and never as good....
Total recall is a prime example. Yes newer effects were better but the acting was just so wooden and no atmosphere at all... |

I just can't agree with that, Len Wiseman's take on the film is much darker and industrial than the shines pseudo futurist images of the Schwarzeneger version of he 90's. I personally enjoyed both versions and think that the two films are so different that you could watch them back to back and enjoy them both. |
