The point I am making a heatwave is so rare in this country everyone knows it will only last a week at the most.I can't imagine most people in this country going for a fortnight in Turkey were the temperature is 140degrees.I loved every minute of it when I was there. |

Yea, i don't mind this great weather just now, but no, can't keep some people happy, some are moaning it's too hot, c'mon, get a grip, probably around jan/feb some were moaning it was too cold/wet/windy.

Open the window and get rid of the duvet and sleep in the nude, if you're hot at night time to sleep.
Indeed, the heat is a lot different living/working in it compared with being on holiday. This I try to explain when people ask me why I left Australia. |

Opening a window and offering your body to the biting insects of the night or sweat buckets. What a dilemma |

I'm not a fan of really sunny weather as I burn so quickly and as others have said it's very different to going on holiday to a hot place and having to spend 8 hours a day in a office remembering a green house with no air con.
Us Brits love talking about the weather, it's what we do well.
FYI we do usually get a lot more then one nice weeks weather a year, this latest batch has been pretty good round here for about the past month. |

I love the heat when it comes to play time, beach, lake, drifting down the river. But having grown up in Miami it's brutal to work in. The humidity just kicks my ass. I'll take the cold any day, I can always add more layers, but can only take so much off. |
