Simple question, lots of people don't like wearing glasses because they think they look 'geeky', but who feels differently, and is actually attracted to those who wear them? |

i like the geeky look on guys, glasses, braces, bow ties, v neck tank top type things...
it really is down to the individual and the choice of frames. Some frames wont suit certain face shapes
Never needed glasses myself but do have some with clear glass as just a fashion accessory |

I am a 50/50 glasses/contact lens wearer. I'm blind without either. I like a guy in glasses as long as he actually needs to wear them - none of this hipster frame only gubbins for me. I think it's taking the piss out of us genuine four-eyes! |

"and i'll own up and confess to being one of those really annoying people who wants to try on everyones glasses... "
I've had a few people try on my glasses before, the moment they put them on they react as though they've just been punched in the face, and ask me 'how do you see ANYTHING!?' |

I get that and also get 'oh your right eye is the bad one isn't it' which is weird as my left is much much worse |

im polite enough to refrain from commenting on the lack of someones vision. Though must be frustrating for those who need strong lenses, id hate to lose my sight |

Lol. I don't think it's taking the piss but I do think it's strange why anyone would want to wear them if they haven't got to. I suppose having had to wear them since I was 2 I can't ever think of them as a fashion accessory xx |

Likewise, but I've been single for a long while now, and get so lonely and horny at night. |

"Tough if someone doesn't like them but as others have said I find it strange people who don't need them wear them as a fashion accessory. Would they wear a hearing aid?
"
no because a hearing aid is often hidden, to me glasses come in all kinds of styles, colours and patterns and can frame a face and highlight the eyes.
i have always found glasses interesting.
9/10 i dont need a belt to hold my trousers up but i'll wear one |

I'm as blind as a bat without mine
I don't wear contacts much, because I stare at a computer screen all day ...
Besides I think my sense of touch is enhanced |

OP those ideals are actually very dated nowadays especially people around my age where glasses as fashion and a huge proportion wear fake ones for that geeky look.
These creatures are called hipsters and they pretty much are the majority in terms of young adults these days. |

Everytime someone says 'OP' on here I always think of Optimus Prime, you must admit that's pretty hipster |

I m getting to an age where I need to wear glasses for reading,
Personally I think I look better with glasses than without having said that I rarely wear them for reading never mind for fashion |

I had 27 years of glasses wearing (my first pair were those awful National Health ones, I think my Mam's still got them somewhere!) then had my eyes lasered at 40...I've just had to start wearing glasses for driving recently and I've also got a bit of a Rayban fetish so I suppose I wear them for both fashion and need...there's some lovely frames nowadays so I think a glasses wearer is just as attractive as the next person (and that's from someone who got called "specky four-eyes a lot at school) |

I personally prefer to wear contacts, but men, including my husband seem to prefer me with glasses!--
As for my preference, sexy eyes will draw me in regardless of glasswear or non .... |
