Don't lay down... That was the best bit of advice given to me by an emergency dentist. Sit up and apply firm pressure to the side that hurts

Mine didn't come in until this year, and I'm 36. I'm having an argument with my dentist about them because they're pushing my front teeth up at an angle. But for some reason he can't see it.

As diamond said, get some clove oil. Be careful with it though as it burns if you put it in the wrong place.

I had all 4 of mine extracted at the same time. Was in hospital overnight and woke up with a mouth full of cotton wool. NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE ©

Ibuprofen won't help, you need an analgesic not an anti inflamtory. Your best bet is something like Paramol combined with aspirin every 4hrs and maybe ibuprofen in between. Take them with milk as both aspirin and ibuprofen can irritate the stomach lining and possibly cause gastritis.

Get booked into the dentist asap they'll probably prescribe you tramadol to help with the pain until a maxiliofacial surgeon can remove them.

Gargling salt water will also help but it stops working after a couple of days.

Do a Google search for NHS dentists in your area and see if they're taking on new patients. It will cost you if you're not claiming any benefits I'm afraid. I'm not sure how much as I don't pay for my kids and I have a phobia of dentists.....

Good advice ^^^^ As if you leave it you will just shatter the teeth next to them. Then or they can do is an extraction and you don't want a mouth full of gaps when you're only 25 .

Sheffield

Anbesol. It's an anesthetic liquid that is used for teething, just rub it on the gums.
