I head a rumour today that things sold by the gram are often more exciting than things sold by the pound! What's your opinion?......examples please . |

Robin Williams once said "cocaine is God's way of saying you earn too much"... I guess that was before the price dropped! |

rubbish,
there is nothing better than going in an old fashioned sweet shop and asking for a quarter of sherbert lemons(or whatever you fancy at the time). Asking for 125 grams just does not have the same nostalgia about it |

A pint of beer has got to be better than whatever the metric equivalent is. Same goes for weights - as the pint of beer test is the ultimate way to prove which works best for your pleasure. And a 10 inch cock is better than 25cm |

Here's one I posted a few years ago, There was a shop in a village that I used to live in. The shopkeeper used to climb up his little wooden ladder and descend with a glass jar of your chosen sweet, measure it out on his scales, carefully picking the odd sweet out and putting it back in the jar before ascending said rickety wooden ladder to replace the jar in it's rightful place. Cue the next boy to ask for whatever was in the jar adjacent to what he had just replaced
Happy days ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |
