One of the best parties I hosted here was a Eurovision party.

Sweepstake so each guest had a country to cheer on. Themed food from different countries/regions.

Was a great ice breaker and led into much more well into the wee small hours!

A 50's themed party. The men would wear immaculately cut suits and the women would all wear proper lingerie.

I'm not walking around a party in a roll-on girdle and a Doreen bra for anyone!!!

Can I not wear one of my nice fifties style frocks instead?

I love 50s frocks!

I'm just wanting to host a party later in the year with a different theme that's not been done yet. I want something original. keep them coming

If I went to that I'd have to wear a 50's dress as well with full net petticoats. Proper lingerie underneath though!

50's...as in 1750's Lots of buttons, frills, cleavage, and beautifully patterned fabrics. A truly romantic gentlemen & ladies night

Ooh, I like. Broderie anglaise nightie and underbust corset can be repurposed so I could go all wenchified.

Complicated corsets with whale bones and hooks n eyes. Silk seemed stockings.

Petticoats, polka dots, red lipstick and curls.

Just like the typical American diner scene....

It has to be a Guy Fucks night where all the guys come as Guy Fucks and the women are dressed as fireworks ready to go off.

I could live with that. At least no one would bat an eyelid at me mentioning listening to the Wireless
