I'm keeping this news from my daughter as we are flying Saturday morning and she is not the best of flyers anyway.

It's believed to of crashed due to a thunderstorm it had been diverted to avoid colliding with another plane...unconfirmed reports suggests it has crashed

I saw that. CCTV News have made "confirmed" reports that the plane came down in Niger.

Nobody else has confirmed that yet though so we shall see. x

Still much safer per passenger mile than driving is, or ever will be.

Please take care and give respect on the roads.

I think flying is statistically probably the safest form of travel. However, when so many people are put in peril at the same time, it doesn't always seem so.

Sad as it is, as the world's population increases, there will be more planes trains & automobiles to crash.

Sympathies to all concerned

"anyone looked down the back of the sofa?"

Maybe the 110 passengers and 6 crew members will "back of the sofa" too?

Would you say the same if your family members were on the plane?

Some people!!!!

"anyone looked down the back of the sofa?"

After the 38 year old woman who had to have a sex toy removed that had been "lost" inside her for 10 years, I'm beginning to think we need to start x-raying women's vaginas for these missing planes.

Last year less than one in 2 million commercial flights crashed beyond repair, thats passenger and cargo planes. Flying remains the most reliable and safe way of traveling

I have to have four pints of Guinness. We fly tomorrow at 0645. I'm getting to the airport bar at four thirty in the morning.
