Trailer is released later today? On the today show?
I thought the books were mediocre much preferred the crossfire series. Will still watch the film but obviously it's not going to be like the books as it will be rated 15. |

"I've had the books for about 18 months and not read a single page yet lol three more books for the charity shops me thinks "
Just read the first page, the middle page and the last page, you'll have it covered then and won't of missed much! |

I have to say that I've never known a book that so many people haven't read or a film so many people haven't seen invite so much comment. Not just here but in every day life too. The amount of people who start a conversation about by saying "I haven't read it but...." |

I read all 3 to see what the fuss what about, I don't know much about BDSM which I know is the reason they get slated so much on here but in general they were terribly written x |

I've read the books and will be going to see the film. It's fan fiction, it was based on the twilight books/films and it started out as a racier version of that. I quite liked em, but I like a good love story with a happy ending. As for the kinky fuckery......it did what it needed to do and caused the world wide phenomenon. They are easy holiday reading and you don't need to engage your brain to read em.
I'm interested in how it translates to a film......

My daughter read all three and we have them here she also read quite a few by Sylvia Day who people say is better but she declined to share her opinion with me |

I might give the Sylvia Day ones a go then. I probably won't read 50 Shades because I know the plot from what people have told me |

I've only read the first book thus far. I found it quite tame and poorly written, although did keep my interest to see what happens. I suspect the film maybe the same to get pass the censors and I doubt James will be the script writer, but only to be consulted. |
