I think it depends on what it is. Who wants to end things on a high unless there was already a reason to quit - in which case surely the high is an artificial one? |

"Do you think its best to end things still on a high or wait until it all starts going wrong
"
Wait till it goes tits up far more fun for all those waiting for it to happen. |

Hard to answer , as until things start going wrong - you wouldn't know it had come down from a high. The high may never end. So my answer is - I will assess it on a case by case basis . |

"On a high......
And i knows this as something as just ended
But with fantastic memories
Same for me at the moment peaches. Feeling very sad but have fabulous memories. "
Tis sad, but "life" got in the way and we decided to end things as the best of mates and glorious memories. so no regrets at all |

It's possible that things have been on a high. Something happens to cause you to reevaluate whether it's what you want and choose to end it. So you can still end on a high or, instead, choose to overlook the cause if the reevaluation and continue. However if your intuition was right about what caused the reevaluation it could, in time, destroy the relationship.
