On a high... I waited until it went stale and it's tarnished the good memories

I think it depends on what it is. Who wants to end things on a high unless there was already a reason to quit - in which case surely the high is an artificial one?

Do it whilst it still good, it would be a lot easier in the end.

Do you really need to end it? If its making you feel so elated?

I think it's important to leave a situation when you've still got lingering doubts about the timing of your decision ....

Hard to answer , as until things start going wrong - you wouldn't know it had come down from a high. The high may never end. So my answer is - I will assess it on a case by case basis .

Tis sad, but "life" got in the way and we decided to end things as the best of mates and glorious memories. so no regrets at all

It's possible that things have been on a high. Something happens to cause you to reevaluate whether it's what you want and choose to end it. So you can still end on a high or, instead, choose to overlook the cause if the reevaluation and continue. However if your intuition was right about what caused the reevaluation it could, in time, destroy the relationship.

Titz Towers, North Notts

Oh a high.

Fawlty Towers - great, but only 2 series.

My Family - dragged out way too long.
