when i was first contacted by much younger good looking men i thought they were too good looking for me but after meeting them i realised they are just people and that not everyone is obsessed with looks.

Yes and yes! Especially when they're a couple because we hardly ever get replies from couples as it is. And we've had enough let downs and fakes to know that if something looks too good to be true it probably is
