Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Everything I bought yesterday fit* and looked OK! That's a first!

* Only tried them on this morning as there were no fitting rooms in the store.

As an infrequent but impulsive clothes shopper...... I often live to regret buying before trying.......

I hate clothes shopping.

Whatever shape clothes manufacturers make clothes for, it isn't mine!

I usually make day of it, unless I have previously seen something and I always try them on. Even if I am stripping off in the shop.

I know what size shirt/trousers I am, so the only thing I try on is shoes as they can vary even in the same size.

I usually go when the store is at its quietest and am a straight in, pick up what I want and straight out kinda guy

I absolutely love clothes shopping. I never try them, can't be bothered with undressing and redressing. I know what shapes will look ok anyway and I'm not often wrong.

So depressing when that happens! They look lovely on the pics then you try and get it on and it's either sized for elves or hangs off like a sack.

Y'see this is why shopping does my head in. If I have to think or peruse then I don't want it enough. Impulse buys tend to work with me. Although I had to think about one of the dresses I bought yesterday, but when I found out I could take it back without a problem I bought it. And it fit(ted)!

You haven't mentioned the Boundary Mill for some time. I have still to go inside but I did drive past this mysterious place when I came up last year.

I rarely try on and almost never take anything back.

I am not a good shopper,

I'm in between sizes and rarely find clothes to fit,

Its either to long or short to big or to tight

I just end up buying different colours of the clothes that fit

Clothes shopping holds little allure when you believes you look awful in everything.

I only bother because I'd get arrested going out naked, I'd get sunburn or frost bite and I look even worse with no clothes on!

This thread is to blame, and a client paying me finally.

I have gone back to the 80s and bought a pair of white culottes! As I'm short they fit more like palazzo pants (which I have been craving for a while but remain on the short side for those available).

I have also bought a gossamer white silk dress from Phase Eight and a red shrug from Monsoon.

I was very good though and didn't buy any shoes.
