htc one problems since update

I have a m7 htc one. I updated it yesterday and since then its not been able to connect to wifi.. no worries I thought, back up my data, and factory reset it..

Great.. except its not rolling back from the update that has caused the problems no matter how many times I update it.

Anyone got a fix?? As I have practically no signal in my house so use wifi for most things

I have reset the phone using the hard reset.. so you would have thought that would have worked but it is still on the new update.

Thanks.

Mines been fine since the last major update.

Have you reset your wireless router to rule out that as a possible issue?

There's a factory restore option in the settings menu.

tried a factory reset.. all that has done is now mean the phone is crashing and no 3g now too.

It hasn't taken off the update that has caused the issue..

3 are not very helpful. keep asking me to reset my router and phone.. if only it was that simple.

Just don't send your phone to.them. They lost mine, lied to me three times and took over a month to sort out!

I am going to have no choice.. I have backed it up though.. It went back to them last year without hassle though.

It seems whatever the update has done is irreversible..Ive managed to get some function back but it will have to go in for repairs or replacement.

A factory reset won't be able to roll back the firmware version. There is a way to install old or even custom firmware but it requires a lot of work, and also rooting your phone which can mean your warranty is no longer valid.
