It helps to read the faQ,s so here's what it says to the Q 'There are too many rude people on here who don't reply to my messages!'
It's not rude not to reply.
Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone. If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested. If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here?
You are probably not what they are looking for, move on is my advice. |

If the message is read and they don't reply that's ignorant, if it's not read then they may not have got it, if you have time to read you have time to reply it's that simple, most women agree but some make excuses for their ignorance, manners cost nothing but ignorance is bliss sadly |

What you have to remember is a lot of people read profiles before they even open your message. They may well read your profile, decide you are not for them, and delete without even seeing your demand for a reply.
Or, they simply feel they don't have to reply even though you demand it. |

i agree with that too if it says "no reply means no thank u" then fair enough but if nothing like that there then u would expect a reply. It is, its manners at end of the day we are gentlemen after all lol |

I tend to send a message then delete the sent message . That way I don't keep looking seeing if its been read . If I get a reply good . If not I don't worry about it cause I don't know if its been read . Unread or deleted . Works for me |

But the site owners have kindly wrote in the Frequently asked questions that a no reply means a no thanks, so why should we have to write it in our profiles? |

I tried replying to every mail and just had to stop as majority would either give abuse or try to change my mind. So now as the site says no reply-no thanks, saves me the most of that problem |

In my opinion, all single women should block single men from e-mailing them. If a single woman wants to meet a guy, she should do the searching and contact the guy(s) she likes. Surely, it will just take as long searching as it does reading all the messages. |

I used to think it was rude not to reply. I always do because we don't get that many messages but I've seen the rubbish messages that are sent, especially to single ladies.can quite understand why they are ignored. |

Its everyone's personal choice if they reply or not .For us we state in our profile if we do not reply then we are not interested .We did use to send the polite no thank you but got way to many questioning why???
Hence we added that in our profile.
Just move onto the next profile there's loads to choose from. |

"Ah but when the blocks are on some messages still get through."
I do not know what messages you receive or what filters you use. However, to the best of my knowledge, the filter for blocking single men is ignored if you have e-mailed them before. |

To play is a privilege not a right , the fact that you demand a reply will be very off putting to many .it says here on the site that no reply should be taken as a no thanks . Either way your not going to meet the person so suck it up and move on fella its not the end of the world |

I still can't understand why people are so bothered about receiving a reply when it's a no. So you send out a dozen messages, log back on an hour later to see 10 messages in your inbox and find every one is no thanks. Id rather see an empty inbox or at least know that if there's one reply there it's someone who's actually interested x |

some messages we get are not worthy of a reply. like copy and paste ones or fakes... if people send us a nice message but we don't fancy them, then we reply with a no thanks x |

My profile is unambiguous, it clearly states what I'm looking for to allow people to exclude themselves and not waste my time. It also states if MY criteria isn't met I won't reply.
I read the profile before the message. If the person doesn't match what I'm looking for, guess what? I don't reply and I could give a flying fuck if someone outwith what I'M looking for gets their panties in a bunch expecting me to reply when I've clearly stated I won't!
Some people need to get over themselves and get a life! We'll NEVER have universal appeal so concentrate on those wanting to meet you opposed to those that don't! |

I always reply to those that have actually read my profile. However, I've just this minute received a cut and past message with a full body picture the size of a postage stamp and a friends invite from someone who lives 150 miles away.
It clearly states in my profile that I delete cut and paste messages and I only add those I've agreed to get jiggy with.
So OP why should I waste my time answering him? Do I really need to point out that he hasn't bothered reading my profile, that it's rude to send an invite just so he can nose at my pictures [he has none] and that 5'5 is not tall, which is what I'm looking for? |

"I always reply, politeness costs nothing, "
with all due respect, single guy profiles will always reply as you wont have many to reply to.. couples/single women get upto or more than 100 per day... we would suggest a single guy on here would be lucky to get more than 5 messages from different users a day... that's why single men assume couples or women are being rude if they get deleted or not replied to |

I add a footnote, saying I understand no reply is a no thanks. The only polite request I'd ask is that my message is deleted, especially as a face pic may have been attached. |

"I always reply, politeness costs nothing,
It's also polite to read profiles, works both ways in my book "
if they hadn't read my profile , I would not have been sent a message in the first place , that is why I stated I always reply as I am polite, and I am not saying its rude not to reply , you have your own reasons to reply or not to reply thats your choice, |

I read profiles before messages so guess what
shit profile = message deleted un-read
I tend to do the looking/messaging for myself (yes some women have the confidence to do this) as the biggest majority of single guys profiles are shit and if I dont get a reply fair enough, no point crying over split milk.
I personally think a no reply is better an inbox full of "no thanks" or "sorry not my type" surely after seeing a inbox full of those messages, time and time again is worse for your self esteem, id rather not know im a ugly fecker!
see ignorance really is bliss |

On fab, generally speaking, it's not considered rude not to reply. Take a no reply as a no thank you or, in stevie-world, a no reply means to me 'bloody hell, you're hot! We'd love an mmf with you but can't at the mo, but we got your message, have saved it, and will contact you again when we can'.
Delusional messaging, I call it. |

So a question for those who think its rude not to reply, if given what my profile says, you still sent me a message and I deleted it without reading, would I still be rude? No because it says all messages from anyone I haven't spoken to before will get deleted |

OP - From time to time, I open my filters to single males and couples. The messages I receive mostly show they have not read my profile, only looked at my pics. If they had had the decency to spent a little time reading the very first sentence and subsequently the rest of what I spent time writing they would see that it says:
I do read all my mail, but if I do not reply, I do not mean to be rude, I simply do not wish to take it further.
If they can't be bothered to read, I can't be bothered to respond. Simples. |

I like they way that you send a message and put "can you reply either way thanks" and think because you've done that, they should.
I send a message and put "can you take my cock in your mouth and sing the national anthem" yet it still doesn't happen.
For the record I acknowledge your polite approach. |

So OP, imagine for a second you're a single woman on here. You haven't been on for a day or 2 then log on to well over 50 messages, and then, whilst you're online, you get more whilst wading through the ones you already have. Try replying to them all with a polite no thanks and then get more back asking why, etc etc or worse still, getting abuse for it. The result is the same polite reply or not, you're not for them. Why waste time with more messages that aren't necessary when you could spend that time messaging people who might be suitable? Some worry way too much about it, people don't reply, its not the crime of the century, its normal on here. I actively message guys a lot but don't get replies sometimes, I don't give a flying fuck as I'd rather they ignored me than started chatting when they have no intention of meeting as that's wasting both our time. |
