Missed it all last night here in Norwich.
HOWEVER, there's some corckers buliding up over France and one of 'em coming ashore in E Sussex / Kent right now... that too is lightening-tastic by the look of it.
More to come tonight and tomorrow.

Started down here just after midnight with large white rolling clouds, plenty of lightening. Spent the rest of the night on the settee with a very scared dog. Now its very muggy so the fan is on, it did save me having to water the garden (him). |

just before 3 am here it was - really loud thunder lots of lightning - lasted over an hour in all - me sat by the open patio doors absolutely loving it - knackered now and got to go to work |

Not at all. In face, for some reason they rush to meet you. I think it's a bit like the storm chasers. They know it may be dangerous but they can't resist the risk.
