Have you learned something new today?
Today I learned that talking European politics with a patriotic American can be the most infuriating debate of your life.
I also learned that it is apparently now socially acceptable for bulky, saggy people to dress like Gollum from Lord of the Rings in urban areas whenever the sun comes out.  |

Not something I learnt but something that I remembered.
How good it is to have lovely friends and that getting things off your chest and sharing a problem, instead of bottling things up can make a world of difference  |

well it wasn't exactly something new that I learnt but I was reminded why I have no desire to own a car.
Hour upon hour crawling in traffic on the M1 & M6 cursing every minute |
