Where are you heading next? Joining you may be difficult. I realise our distances are next to nothing compared to Texan distances but it takes us longer as we have twisty little roads.

The OP didn't mention castles at all. In fact, the possibility may be that he positively hates castles, forts and other defensive buildings. I thought it would be a kind and friendly idea to suggest a castle as the only ones in Texas are probably concrete adobe style and the OP might like to take the opportunity to see a real one.
