Real ale pubs in central london

Am working a lot in London at the moment and love the real ales after a long hard day. I've tried the likes of butlers head in central London and was hoping so on here may be able to suggest a few good pubs. I like the small tucked away olde worlde type places with character....

There is a couple around the covent Garden area we always head there when we are in London.

We love real ale.

been to a few round CG, love the roundhouse and they do some good pub grub in there too. last time I was down was pleasantly surprised with the ales I found. And on a hot day down by the river it was joy..

Pick any station on the circle line and you will find a wonderful real ale pub/bar within 100yds of the entrance (makes for a really boozy pub crawl)!

We have a CAMRA event every year

In central derby it is very popular with

People locally along with burton on trent

in staffordshire we have a number of breweries.

Yes I had been drinking

Sheperds neame spitfire for sometime and

Speckled hen but in the springtime our Local co op brought in fursty ferret by

Badger ales a lovely beer indeed infact

perhaps my favourite beer brewed in dorset.

Last time I was in London with work we went to a place round the corner from Victoria station called Craft (iirc)

Plenty of cask choice and a great selection of bottled craft beer too

there is a pub on the strand called

the coal hole. had a few real ales last time I was in .

Spent last week working down there and found some great pubs tucked away mainly around Central London, Coventry garden, embankment type areas. Was pleasantly surprised on average about £3.60 a pint which isn't too bad.....

Down again soon and my quest will continue
