Should I be flattered that other men are stealing parts of my profile text and using it as their own? I'm not really that bothered, but it does make me wonder why some one would?

Well the line "I've been called Devilishly Handsome in the past and the Devilish side is certainly true" I have seen on more than one profile in the past so yes people take lines from other peoples profiles it goes on all the time maybe you have forgotten where you original got the idea from. |

Well the line "I've been called Devilishly Handsome in the past and the Devilish side is certainly true" I have seen on more than one profile in the past so yes people take lines from other peoples profiles it goes on all the time maybe you have forgotten where you original got the idea from. "

I have my facts right 100% right your verifications have no relevance as UI was pointing out the line on your profile was almost word for word the same on another one seen last year which was before your profile went up. But you are failing to see the irony of your words as you assume people copy your profile yet deny coping parts of some other persons maybe both are original in their own way maybe both are copied its odd though you are happy to accuse others yet are so defensive when its pointed out to you you may be guilty of the same. |

There is no irony, as I haven't stolen any of my profile. So you can say all you wanted because I know I'm right.
I don't expect you to believe me and that's fine.
I do however find it amazing you can remember profiles from year ago, that apparently I've stolen from word for word. You must be a genius |

There is nothing that is that original on your profile. I have read similar on a few profiles.
An original profile for me would be TinaTitz. No one else would be able to claim that as their own. 
I would be more bothered about photos being lifted and used elsewhere. Had that happen to us a few years back and that was annoying!

To be honest my friend, you are coming across as quite arrogant in this.
Your profile is similar to many on here and that is a result of either a) a lack of originality on all parts b) them copying your text c) you copying their text.
One thing can be guaranteed, we are not 6 years old. We do not go running to teacher shouting "so and so copied me"
I suspect that the real reason is a). It appears arrogant to suggest that your profile is so utterly superb that many need to ape it in order to survive. You are adamant that you have not copied anyone else, therefore a lack of originality seems to be the most likely option.
Our profile is by no means unique and many other profiles share traits with ours. Such is life. We are adults. Act like it. |

I saw the other thread, someone recommended that the OP look at ejays profile. He obviously did because a bit later the OP's profile had changed to be very similar bordering on identical, to ejays profile. Who, as we all know, hasn't been here long but obviously does stuff right meets wise. Even the best profile ever wouldn't get a guy anywhere if the dude didn't have the wit, charisma, attitude, humour, self effacement, depth of character and engaging personality needed to make swining a success. I know this. I read it in an article I read at Hove Train Station. |

There's a lady on the site who not only copied paragraphs directly from my profile, she started telling her meets to message me and say she had sent them to please me... I had never met her or had a message from her!
I just left the profile alone as it didn't really bother me and told the meets I wasn't interested... All a bit odd...
Mind you there are a few strange going ons on fab.... |

Steve - as you and I both know - profile text theft isn't a new thing!
Although from memory both the muppets that 'borrowed' ours last year were straight!
