"go to "mycomputer", there should be a webcam there(if not plug it in), double click it and there should be a button that says "take a still""
built in webcam tho !!?? im having the same trouble im pretty computer literate but cant see the webcam icon on my new lappy to take a still ? luckily it works in the chat room ! |

If it is a built in webcam it probably has software already installed.
As Bogof says, go to programmes and it should be in there. Once you have clicked on it it normally lets you take a still/video/mike etc. |

go onto the start menu and on the search bar type webcam... and youre webcam software should come up! i know for a fact this works on acer laptops as mine is the same xxx if you cant find it mail me and ill try help you x |

Easiest way to do it is to........
expand the video window to the size you want the picture to be
adopt your pose and press the 'print screen key' (its on the top row of keyson your key board, the left hand button on the row of three on the right hand side, if that makes sence).
Next, open a picture program (paint is easiest and every computer has it, it will be in the accesories folder) and paste the picture into that program.
Lastly, trim your picture to taste. and save it.
Simples. |

cyberlink just brings up the power dvd package still no still camera ......next !!!!!"
Just checked one of the laptops with a built in cam

havnt got it on mine !! just the dvd thingy ....im not a technophobe either im quite clever with all that stuff !!
