One common joy of science and sex is experimentation. At the end of each experiment we hope we have learnt something. Then we repeat a few times to test the theories and outcomes.
So far science alone hasn't given me an orgasm. Sex alone has (oops what a confession!)

Science can give you orgasms, you just have to acquire the right chemicals such as dopamine and a couple of others. Get the quantities right, put up an IV line and you can have all the orgasms you want. |

For me one glaring flaw in your comparison..in order to move from hypothesis to theory an experiment must be repeatable anywhere.
Sadly I have to report after taking part in exhaustive amounts of field work on Fab, some experiments don't get past the hypothesis stage..lol |

...and with me sex is a religious experience 
I can see the pros and cons of either...depending upon how perverted your experiments are lol....but I wonder which people would prefer...you in your rubber gloves... or me with my burning incense |
