Have you ever seen or heard of someone doing something so stupid or dumb that you think thank fuck i didn't do that?. Like the time my mate left his wallet(with £200 cash in it) on top of his car bonnet and forgot it was there as he was driving. |

I've done the same thing when setting off to the airport but with my passport! |

A lad overtook me on his 50 cc scooter his silencer fell off , he pulled over , ran into the road and picked it up with his bare hands , judging by his reaction I would imagine the silencer in question was a tad warm |

I felt really sorry for my mum, she came in crying because she knows how much I love that car. I played it down and made her feel better and truly felt awful ringing the insurance to make a claim against her. The damage is fairly minor but it's still the better part of £1000 to put right so going through the insurance was the only option. |

There's nothing morally wrong with making an insurance claim. It is after all why you pay insurance. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
About 15 years ago a police van at a red light reversed into me. They then pulled me over to the side, breathalysed me and told me to produce my documents.
Once I got over my shock I reported them all to their senior officer who sat on the same committee as me.

Whilst playing paintball, I saw a guy run into the oppositions base and get well and truly splattered. Very funny but very stupid.
In work one guy walked10 foot behind the engine of an A320, the power had just been cut. The bloke got picked up and deposited 8 foot away luckily still on his feet.
A mate fucking about with an airpistol, loaded it and pointed it at me. He pulled the trigger and shot me in the eye.
Seen the after effects of a guy who cycled home from the pub after a skinfull, he came off the bike and the chain ring went down his shin. He was proud of the fact he had a scar the full length of his shin. |

It doesn't matter who it is really, it's why his mother pays insurance. It's nothing personal. I've done the same to my sister in law when she rear ended me. She didn't mind. |

Saw a guy stand in the parapet over looking the rose garden at Versailles to take a photo.
Clearly the composition in his view finder wasn't to his liking and he stepped backwards.....

Like I said, I felt awful doing it, but she couldn't have bumped a worse spot. The rear wing on an Alfa GT is a massive panel and the car itself is in virtually concorse condition and I, nor she, has £1000+ spare to get it done privately. It's why we pay insurance and both of us have protected NCB so it's all good. |

Exactly. And a £1000 is a lot of money, well for most of us anyway!! |

One of the stupidest and most dangerous , was when I was driving onto the slip road of the motorway. To be faced with a car that had decided to reverse back up said slip road! How no-one crashed I'll never know.
And in the late 80's - a road near where I lived at the time flooded. I was standing with my mates watching cars try to go through - and each one got stuck , but more kept trying to drive through it! It was utter mayhem & definitely stupid. |
