Age is a fact of life,

Old is a state of mind...

Discuss in a polite inoffensive way.

Titz Towers, North Notts

Getting old is pretty shit, but beats any known alternative.

I agree, although eventually the physical overwhelms even the most agile mind. I get surprised by the mirror sometimes haha, I think 'Who the heck is that?'.

That is where having a good mind will be a good thing. After all our physical attributes have left us and a cup of tea is more appealing than sex, we will rely upon our life experience and wise minds for fulfillment!!

for me age is just a number, its how i feel getting out of bed in the morning, the brain says im 25,but the body differs,so the argument starts as to who is right and who is wrong.

I worked very hard in my 30's & 40's and I find that now in my 50's I don't have to.

it's a much calmer life and I am loving it.

Funny thing age is! Back in the day it seemed to be the norm to get to cirtain ages and fit into a given ' box' that dictated that age.... Taking this into account maybe I should be wearing a twin set n pearls!, joining the local womens guild and partaking in knitting circles, and cake baking/ pickle making fests! Lol

I do have to re think at times just how old I actually am... Luckely I havn't had the need to fit in with any ' age groove' thingy bob! Am me, and actually enjoying this age... Very much!

I'll have sex with the mature minded 20 something please.

The old dear can put the kettle on for a nice chat later.

I remember a saying I once heard, that I liked.

'You don't stop having fun when you get old, you get old when you stop having fun'
