Being the idiot I am , I have just dropped my phone into my coffee! I have dried it , its not switching on so have placed it into a cup of rice .

I could actually cry right now

Anybody got any ideas , will it be fixable?

I think you will need to let it fully dry so may be a few days,

I think... good luck, hope it works

Leave it in the rice. Do you have an airing cupboard or somewhere warm you can put it?

It may be ok, it may not. I'll cross my fingers for you.

Rise is the best option. Leave it for about 24 hours

My Ice Castle! South Wales

That's all you can do for now. Wait and see if it dries out. Sometimes it works others times I'm afraid it doesn't

Put in a tub of rice overnight in your airing cupboard. Failing that keep crying. Worked for me once but didnt work for an ipod

Bag of rice and don't try and switch it on again until it's properly dry. That's how you fry the circuit boards. At least 24 hours in the airing cupboard but 48 would be better. Good luck sweetie, fingers crossed for you. I'd be gutted too. If it's your pics your most concerned about may I also suggest that from now on, should you be able to save them, that you back them up online using an app synced to your phone, an example being Dropbox, (other apps available I'm sure lol), then at least if something ever happens to it that you can't repair, then you won't loose them forever. Hope this helps

If there's any bits you can take off/ out, batteries, covers, SIM cards etc, do so... Dry em with a tissue and leave all the bits in rice in the airing cupboard...

Good luck.

I've dropped 2 phones in water before, 24hours in rice in an airing cupboard and they both worked fine couldn't tell with my iPhone and just a slight watermark on the screen of the other
