"I've just been sat watching this. What do the peeps who have watched it make of it? "
Silk Spectre's latex outfit means I have no choice but to consider this an amazing film.
I would have enjoyed it anyway but superheros in latex? *thud* |

I think it's brilliant... but I'm not sure if that is because of the film or the book... Shame they "tweaked" the ending but guess they had to. Still, as an homage to the original source material, the faithfulness is breath-taking, and yes, Silk Spectre, I would, given half the chance. |

Personally I Rorshach was my favourite character in the film, he came across every bit the ruthless, uncompromising tough guy a real world superhero would need to be, an absolutely amazing performance. |

Love the directors cut.
It's such a bad ass film.
It feels like watching the comic. Except the ending. But a gigantic alien just appearing would've been weird.
I haven't read before watchmen though.
I have a signed Watchmen graphic novel by Alan Moore |

"I have read the book and watched the film, I thought it was a good film. For the Rorschach was the best character."

"best super hero movie ever made.
fact.
*dr manhattan..best super hero ever.
fact"
I would agree with this, were it not for the fact Mr. Nolan released a small film called "The Dark Knight".
Watchmen is one of the most incredible FILMS (not even superhero related) I have ever watched. It was so true to the graphic novel, and it's a shame that Alan Moore has never seen it, because I think he'd probably love it. Rorschach is one of the great protagonists of any film ever. |

It's like watching the graphic novel come to life. Utterly compelling and full of amazing characterisation. I have also had many debates with an ex-Fabber about Dr. Manhattan and his humanity. Now, if they can only get the Preacher TV series right and finally make a live action Akira I shall be in geek heaven. Just nobody mention the League of Extraordinary Gentleman movie travesty, I beg you! |

I don't think there is a "best" character in Watchmen. There are a few that are amazing in their own, very different way. The characters were acted very true to how they should be.
I love the prison scenes. You don't seem to understand that I am not trapped in here with you; you are trapped in here with me.
He played that with just the right degree of total insanity. |
