Sober meet?

I've read quite a few profiles today where it says the person is quite shy but turns wild after a drink or two.

Does anyone meet totally sober? Or do you all have at least one drink to get the horny glow going?

I have met sober a few times because ive been driving but I do prefer the option of being able to have a drink if I want one

We don't meet and drink if you need alcohol to play you are better off doing something else.

All my meets have been totally sober meets.. I would refuse a guy too if he turned up pissed and stinking of booze or fags!

Always meet sober and drink very little, no more than a glass of wine.

Got d*unk once on a meet think he was buying me doubles and that was the last time due to later occurrences I will ever get pissed

Clubbing more often sober than not as if crystal drives neither of us drink. Other than that it varies depending on who and where

I'm teetotal (pretty much) and never drink on a meet.

Always totally sober! A first meet determines if I'm gonna get lucky or not... It's a delicate, surgical operation, that requires precision and finesse... One wrong step and things get messy, Although...

Always sober. Had a social meet once and when I got to town he was d*unk and couldn't understand why things didn't go any further. I had quite a few unwanted text that night too. I didn't reply until the following morning!

Alcohol doesn't change my personality, so I can take or leave having a drink. Be it before or during a fab meet, or any social occasion.

We always meet sober, like to know we are in control and know what we are doing, no one can take advantage in any way, I.e. safe sex and no crossing of boundaries

Normally sober as I am driving....but when we go to clubs I will drink and I have been known to have the odd overnighter where I've been able to have a drink, but that isn't the norm for me.

Never drink before a meet but if I'm meeting someone in a bar, I'll probably have a drink or two as will the person with me (or I'll share a nice bottle of wine to break the ice if it happens at mine).

I don't drink before a meet. If we meet in a pub I'll have a beer or two, but not get anywhere near d*unk. So in closing, sober.

Yes we often have meets where we won't drink alcohol at all.

Other times we will have one or two but that's about it. Like to stay in control of our actions...

I never drink before, during or after a meet. I find it adversely affects my performance - and confidence levels.

Sober for meets as I like to be aware of what's going on, plus I often drive. Only person I used to drink with was an ex fb, but that wasn't something I did straight away

Reading this thread I'm thinking we might have a drinking problem ??

We tend to meet at ours, or we spend a weekend away visiting a club, this takes up all of our babysitting time so do like to have a drink the same time, we have had some wonderful meets sober however so we can manage it

nope... I am a non-alcoholic drinker now...

I am testing all the alcohol free beers...

Non-alcohol kopperburg... okay for cider, nothing special

Cobra 0.0%.. never a fan on the indian lager special.. even less of a fan of this!!!

I rarely drink before or during sex. If I do it will only be a couple. I hate d*unk sex and I don't need warming up or an alcoholic confidence boost

Totally sober here. I seldom drink anyway, so wouldn't even contemplate drinking prior to a meet.

Meeting locally, I'll maybe have a glass of wine or two if I'm not driving...meeting at a club I'll take drinks but don't usually get bladdered (although the Xtasia social in February was different as I started on the wine in the afternoon - that's usually fatal)...I'm off to Sparkle this weekend so there'll probably be a few schooners of sherry pass my lips

I won't drink and play, I like to be completely aware of what's going on and fully capable of making decisions. I'm usually driving too (a great way to refuse a drink) and I like to know that, if I had to, I can leave under my own steam.

If I go to socials with the intention of it just being social then I have been known to indulge in the occasional tequila...
