No it won't. Go check your garden thoroughly you'll find a fair bit of dead stuff.
It will be gone within a week or so.
If it was a cow or a human then yeah its gonna stink from the size of the thing but a bird no.
It most gets eaten before it even has a chance to really rot.
You'd be amazed how quick the local rats will eat a lot of things. |

I had a dead bird under my bed courtesy of my cats and that stank! There was a dead rat under the portacabin where I worked once and that stank! |
