If I wanted to be really rude and put a lady down for being slim I certainly wouldn't use the word skeleton. I would use a massive amount of other words. In a similar way if I wished to slag off a lady who is on the large scale I would use a variety of different words.
Have you not heard men saying some like something to hold on to. Skin to ripple when they thrust. Not to feel lile the may break her bones? |

The good thing is everyone finds something different attractive. I find women with curves and some padding on them attractive. My very good friend is a skinny minny to use her own phrase. She is stunningly beautiful to go with it.
When she calls herself that she isn't being rude to herself. She loves her shape and so does her hubby. She laughs at her slender figure as much as I take the mickey out of my own curvy shape but also love the shape I am.

Yes I have and I find that equally derogatory.
So saying someone looks like a skeleton is a nice thing is it? Just because you can think of worse things things to call someone doesn't make what you called them this time nice.
I have seen countless bbw threads get very nasty because someone dared to say that a bbw was fat or that not all bbw's are beautiful.
Comparing slim women to skeletons or bags of bones is the same thing in essence.
Why can't you just state that you are happy the way you are without putting other people down? |

Body shape/type threads usually end up with slimmer women getting told they aren't real women blah blah or more curvey women getting a bashing also, what I love about them however is that the majority of women stick together and fight each others corners. Lets all burn our bras! x |

I'm just devastated nobody joined me in bra burning! I felt all empowered as a woman and rushed to the garden, throwing it triumphantly into the chimnea! It took a good hour to burn due to all the padding (needed for my 'not a real woman' skeletal body) and it had cost me 25 quid! |

I've gone from a size 8 all over to a size 16 up top and size 12 below. So you could say I've gone from slender to plumper. I don't take exception to those words but I hated the terms: skinny; skeletal; bag of bones; twig etc. etc.
If it's rude or hurtful to call fatties fatty then surely you must see that calling skinnies skinny is just as hurtful , I know I hated being called those names. |
