It's a means of contacting someone directly though. I'd have thought people would prefer to give their ID to the people they want to chat to that way, not open it up for anyone and everyone.

Personally I wouldn't want pervy messages from total strangers with no idea who they are, but to each his (or her) own.

I don't have one anyway.

Lol you won't know how it works then if u don't have snap chat plus there is a block button that u can use

I am at a loss to understand why people on this site, which offers free messaging, and a block facility, want to chat elsewhere, I admit I don't use the other site, though maybe others do because there is free picture or video sharing available, free pictures here too, and oh so many of every description!

I would have thought it was easier and less hassle to give out your user name to a select few than have to block loads because you've announced it to the world and his wife
