I have no problem meeting gorgeous young men for sex, even unverified newbies if I feel they are genuine - my veris will testify to that, so the 'some people on here....' jibes are water off a ducks back. But these are not bona fide ongoing fabs users - my impression is a lot of them are signing up to see if they can get 'a free shag'. They're chancing their arm as it were - I believe in RESPONSE to something they have heard. If they are respectful and attractive I might invite them to hang around and chat a bit - I often see that they are gone within a couple of days. | |||

I am not saying there are not any chancers with a totally negative attitude towards the 'type' of women sites like this must (in their mind) attract. There always has been and always will be chancers. Or think about the question I actually asked instead maybe. But I don't take offence at attractive young men hitting on me anyway, on the contrary, it flatters and amuses me, and so I don't 'feel disrespected' by it. But I am able to observe it quite objectively and form an opinion. Sometimes I even write to them and suggest a better approach! One or two have been appalled that their message was deemed inappropriate - hence my question. I think they have been misinformed about the nature of this site. " Ah well, I think you just misinterpreted me then. That was a dispassionate observation on the style of the approach not an expression of indignation or offence. I often say 'Give them some slack' on threads expressing indignation at one line messages or 'How are you' approaches. They don't bother me. But this one was SO matter of fact it raised the question in me - what ARE these guys coming here believing?? What kind of information - I have no idea, the thought has only just occurred to me - maybe we need a FAB FAQ thread. I dunno, I usually explain to them that the competition is fierce and that in order to get meets they are going to have to write a decent profile and put up a bunch of pics. It's what we tell guys week in week out when they eventually come on the forums saying 'Help, I'm not ugly, why won't anyone meet me....?'.
