What's the difference between a hotlist and a friends list apart from the ability to look at the pictures?
Do you add people to your friends list willy nilly?
I only have 8 people on my friends list, I have considerably more on my hotlist. 
Why are people obsessed with being "Friends"?  |

I have 35 friends in my list and I'd say 25 of them I have met socially. The rest are people I talk to regularly on here.
Might be a bit friend "whore-ish" but I suppose none of them and ransoms  |

To look popular. (Although if your list is public it only shows 20!)
A possible sense of entitlement to meets/more pics/cam/personal details/gossip.
The old 'bookface' mentality.

We only add those we've met. Pics can be shared without adding and 'friends' is a definition that varies from person to person.
We could easily survive if friends lists weren't an option on site.

Nope, I'm not that shallow to need the ego boost of lots of friends on here.
Fab fun is the icing on a cake - not the cake and substance of life itself, so its not something I use to define my popularity, or validate myself with. |

I have a small friend list and a bigger hotlist. I find it difficult enough keeping in touch with my friends that are on the list with a few exceptions, nevermind having a big list. So no not a friend whore at all |

I have quite a lot on my friends list but that's largely because I'm lazy at removing people! I don't use the Hotlist although there are people on there I really couldn't tell you why. .... I need a PA To organise fab for me |

I have 9, all people that Ive met and occasionally hear from. Rarely look at it though.
I use my hotlist more, for people I chat to frequently, but mainly I use it for people who are under observation for other reasons |

Friends list is people we've met or want to meet. We fill the hotlist when we have a party or event in mind, so we can easily mail them all invites. Otherwise the hotlist gets deleted ready for next time. |

We use friends list for people weave met and plan on meeting again. If it doesn't look like that will happen we delete them  we use hotlist to keep an eye on certain people we may want to play with in the future that may have messaged us but not made it to friend list |

I do not have any friends (do have in real life, not Billy no mates) because I cannot see the point. The people I have met and like I am in contact with in other ways. If I want to track someone....I put them on my hot list. It's the random friend requests that really get me from people who haven't even bothered to message in the hopes that my private pics are good enough to wank to |

17 on my friends list, all of whom I would like to meet in some capacity in the future either sexually and/or socially, schedules and geography permitting. Of those, 7 are on my hotlist as well. I did have a few more I have off-Fab contact info for and have met that are now UNLOS. I don't think I'm a friends whore, all things considered. |

We just seem to add people from the forums after a bit of interaction.
Or the odd one here and there, just seems easier to go on friends we message.
I would rather have one or two regulars than non talkers though.

So no one else is admitting to being a friend whore??? Is it really just me that is completely lazy and isn't that bothered who is on my friend's list?? As many have said it doesn't mean anything really. If I'm honest many are there because we'd been chatting and I fancied a perv at their friend only pics and they have just stayed there. Oh well at least you can't accuse me of having OCD!! |

lol pretty much the same here like a good perv now and then i do go through it now and then and boot one or two but then feel guilty when they mail all sad and end up sticking them back on |

Friends list for people we've actually met and would like to have associated with us i.e. we'd whole heartedly recommend them.
Hot list for people we'd like to meet who are near enough to be practically possible.
Fab pics for further afield fantasies as well as nearby ones who may have slightly different preferences from us.

You know. It's rare that i even go through the 'friends only pic'. Quite recently i thought to myself 'hold on a minute. I speak to them on a regular basis but never gone through the pictures'.
So, recently had a perve. But, there's only so much a picture can tell.
Don't think i have many on my friends list though. I rarely add anyone unless we've spoken or met.

Friends list is for people I chat to / have met / want to meet. Nothing to do with popularity as I rarely look at friend requests.
Hot list ~ general perving & people who make me laugh with their updates & posts.

I just had a cull!
I usually add 'friends' when we start talking with the hope of meeting. I never get around to removing them if we dont!
Half the 'friends' I have are forumites.
I have a fair few on my hotlist, mainly to perve over their pics.

Ignoring me - I have 8 of which 3 are people I've met, 1 is a club and the others are hotties.

I have a fair few friends but its pretty static. I rarely add people and if I do its because I'm meeting them, and I delete them afterwards. I recently removed a few because they were supposed to be arranging a meet and I never heard from them again.

I have 15 on my friends list - most of whom I've met one way or another. I regularly cull it (but never announce that I'm doing so - what's that all about?!?!  ) and - having looked at them when counting - will probably cull a few from there later.
I don't use it for perving pics unless it's someone I'm planning to meet - if it's a post meet friends request I regularly forget to ever look at them.
My hotlist is my perv list and has less than 10 on it - I'd like 2 hotlists - 1 - my 'I want you to know I like you' hotlist/ stalker list 2- people I've listed because I like their status updates (daily jokes, for example) or I'm keeping an eye on them for a different reason (not that I'm a mad stalker, though!!!)  |

I maybe on the wrong site? I have friends on my list, whom I actually, call friends! People I can call upon when needed if I need some sound advice, or just people whom I feel I've clicked with. Most I've met some I've not, some I hope to. It's extremely short... |

Id like my friends list to be a people I get on with / shag, but it has morphed due to lack of control and only having one list for all kinds of contacts. I certainly am a less is more friends list person - I have no desire for popularity or to be judged popular etc. |

There are more people - again, that I've met - that I'd add if they asked.
Either they detest me or they don't see the benefit of it.
It only allows them to see my friends only photos and more easily see status updates and new photos, after all. |

Just counted and I have 34 friends. Well, 34 people on my friends list anyway
They are a combination of people I've met and liked or people I've spoken to a fair bit and want to stay in touch with for one reason or another.
My hotlist is another story
On reflection, I treat it more as a monitoring list for those I think I may like to meet or chat to (further/more often).

Apart from a couple of forum people and some hot tottie that's awol at the moment, I only keep people on my friend list if I talk to them regularly and there are 29 even after I culled a few recently.
My hotlist is vast - I'm not gonna live long enough to meet them!

i got 65 on my friends list, dont remember who they all are some i have met, i dont accept all friend invites though. sometimes accept them if they fab my pics a lot and i like theres or they seem like nice people, always nice to get friend invites from women or couples as dont get as many of those.
people on my hotlist are the ones i like to look at not the ones i want to meet. |
