Germany tonight, Netherlands tomorrow

It's been a very entertaining tournament, Suarez aside

-----------

Been some lesser sides that have impressed.

Algeria - Attacking with pace

Chile - Played as a team

Columbia - James Rodrequiez (sp)

Costa Rica - Physical and with Joel Campball a good outlet who will hold the ball up.

USA - They were good anyway but I suspect a few PL sides to come in for those guys when able.

Joel Campbell on the books and Alexis Sanchez interested in a move to London...Arsenal might finally be able to mount a serious title challenge this upcoming season!

Thats what held them back last year I remember the pundits saying, someone to score 20 a season

Debuchy is close to complete and linked to Lars Bender of Bayer Leverkusen.

Who does everyone hope their club will make a bid for after the tournament's over?

Id like to hang onto Gary Medel (Chile) but cant see it.

You can have Kim Bo Yung (South Korea)

(Cardiff City)

Realistically we aint going to sign anyone

Khedira and Schneiderlin are supposed back-up targets should the Bender pursuit go badly. Not that I'd complain with either player!

Brazil had it coming. While no one thought the score would be this bad, they haven't been overly convincing in this tournament and hadn't faced a strong side till they met Germany.

I'm not a football fan, infact some would be impresseD that I watched the game but even I could see how bad Brazil were, they just didn't even seem to try and defend, just stood there like stuffed dummies.

Towards the end they started to look desperate.

If Germany play like that on Sunday they will be hard to beat.

Gutted - I had backed them all the way and was happy with the way the country got behind their team as the tourney progressed. There could still be protests like in the first week but we dont hear about it. Last night was the first proper team they had played and it was a suprise the scoreline is what it is, but its not a suprise they lost.

Well played Germany and congrats, the only Euro team I predicited would make the final, I could be wrong, we'll see tonight.

I liked the way Germany passed the ball into the goal and not just had the first attempt available, a lot of players could learn from this - it was refreshing to see.

it was almost painful to watch yes but that's because one team rolled over and chucked in the towel..

had it been 2 boxers it would have been stopped before half time, not that there is a half time in the ring.

Germany were good, very efficient but there performance was made to look better than it was as Brazils was dire..

most of Germany's goals were in the box and passed in to the goal, perhaps preventable by a poor team albeit on the way to being well beaten on the night actually making half an effort and putting some tackles in..

"I found last night almost painful to watch.

I am gutted for Brazil.

I find the Germans incredibly dull to watch... even their goals are not exciting.

My only hope is Holland get through and give them a pasting........ it's a slim hope I know.

I did wonder if Zuniga had a bodyguard assigned to him after the Brazil v Columbia match "

To be fair, arent Germans known for dull efficiency in most things? I enjoyed last nights game, watching them move forward was like clockwork.

Yeah, they lack flair, but it was an impressive performance made to look better by a terrible Brazil team display. I think they missed Silva more than Neymar.

Sideshow Bob was useless. Im so glad we got 50 million for him before the WC. PSG must wonder what they've bought!

There has to be some bungs wafting around in that Luiz deal, defenders don't go for that much

Costa Blanca Spain...

Brazil were the better team in every area, apart from defence, midfield, attack, and scoring goals. So I think the Germans were lucky.

Totally agree about them missing Silva more. Silva was the glue... Neymar was the glitter.

They were a mentally crushed team before they set foot on the pitch and it showed.

I have noticed for the first time in this world cup, there is a lack of yellow in the crowd.

I'm backing the Netherlands but have a feeling Argentina are going to clinch it, maybe a 1-0 win.
