The little 'hairs' fibres call them what you will inevitably poke through the inside of the wig cap and irritate the scalp,they also trap sweat and rub against your own hair. I think maybe that's why those who wear them for acting performing etc. and wear them regularly wear a lining cap under them.
Even when I was bald and had to wear one I only used to put it on if really really necessary. |
