Always wondered what the wink button was all about. Is it to drop a hint to start a conversation or a "I like your profile" kinda thing. Anyone shed any light on it? |

Its about that some don't like it but some don't like it if your fucking socks don't mach your shoes or your teeth aren't impeccably flossed. Easy to pick up on if you like them and easy to ignore if you don't. |

Its another site tool, some people use it, some don't.
Some check them, some don't.
Use it if you want, but I wouldn't rely on it.
I mass delete mine. Don't see the point personally. I'd far rather a message, and someone making a wee effort. |

its always nice to get them
a good way of just saying "aye you'd get it" instead of a message 
we have a lot sitting there just now. usually sit down with the mrs and go through them all together
gives her a wee confidence boost  |

Always did wonder. Had a fair few of them but it's like are the dropping a hint to message them or just a cheeky wink on the passing. I do agree that messaging just gets down to the point more I suppose. |

I usually play it by ear so to speak, if a profile says they don't respond to winks I obviously wouldn't waste my time. But sometimes it's done to say hi nice profile if you like what you see return the wink and then I'll message.
Sometimes it works,sometimes it doesn't!
As for receiving them I usually ignore all from single men (so many of them I'd like them to make the effort to stand out!) But for women and couples I'll wink back if I like.
But everyone uses the tools on here differently!!  |
