Swinging reflects an understood need that people have and fulfil. It does not need to equate to people also having complete liberation and living in heaven on earth. We can all be as fucked up as the next, swingers or not. And fab users are just a self selected sub set of swingers, with forum users an even smaller sub set of those. You cant generalise about us, apart from many of us loving somewhat nonconformist sex to mainstream people. |

Why would we be? We are the people on the street, not a different species. We represent a cross-section of society because that's what we are.
I'd like to see more acceptance, tolerance and open-mindedness here but people are ultimately still just human, even if they love sex. |

For what it's worth, I don't think we "hide" from anyone. We're all here, on a free site, for anyone wishing to join us and there are plenty of clubs, open to anyone who can behave appropriately.
We keep to our groups because ramming our sexual preferences down anyone's throat would be wrong. Otherwise we're no more "hidden" than most other groups or clubs. Membership is open to all adults. |

To some extent you would think there would be less judgemental people swinging as swingers get a rough deal at times from the press etc so having been picked upon the assumption is we would be more forgiving of others. Sadly that's not true. |

I would only expect there to be less people being judgemental about recreational sex - but the forum does seem to attract a noticeable number who enjoy the label more than the activity. |

Why would you expect a random selection of the general public to all have the same opinions and moral standards? Just because we all have one common interest it doesn't mean we're all on the same page with every aspect of our lives, whether that be day to day life or sex life |
