hi all.

we have just bought a new Samsung smart tv and were so exited that we could play in the chat rooms on our new tv, however all is not well with the smart tv..

when we enter the chat rooms, normally our cam on the pc comes on straight but with the new camera on the tv,nothing happens.

we don't even get the option to turn it on manualy ....

are there any experts out there that can help us.....

also our next problem with the tv is that we can not post a comment in the chat room.

we can type out the message we wish to put on but when we press enter or return ,it just drops to the next line...we just cant seem to get it into the chat room.

this tv is not so smart

thanks in advance

xxxxxx

O o O oo

I think you can only view cams on smart devices and not broadcast....I am not savvy enough to know if that will apply to your telly though sorry.

Hopefully someone in the know will have an answer for you.

Yeah it's probably incompatability with flash.

You could connect you TV to your PC use like a large monitor using a VGA cable to connect from PC tower to TV.

"You could connect you TV to your PC use like a large monitor using a VGA cable to connect from PC tower to TV."

this is what we ended up doing, to be honest we think smart TV's are not worth the money, you cant even watch ITV catch-up on the LG one, so we still have to watch it via the pc coupled up to back of it..

Flash player for sure, won't be installed on the TV browser.

"Flash player for sure, won't be installed on the TV browser."

best way at the moment is to get the best dumb tv you can afford and add an extra box / tablet you can check the tablet before you buy plays flash ( i have a android dongle that does just fine)

the so called smart TV's are obsolete within months (netflix not working etc) whereas my dongle only cost £35 simple to upgrade os or dongle
