I have noticed that on almost all single guys profiles

Whenever a newby asks for profile advice, they are usually directed to view other guys profiles for information, so I'm not really surprised they are all the same
Anyway, cant the site delete the disclaimer from profiles?
Or is this a step too far towards censorship?  |

The FAQ specifically mentions disclaimers on profiles:
"
Question: We've noticed a legal disclaimer paragraph that some people have on their profiles. Should we have one too? What are they about? Do they do any good?
Answer: The "legal disclaimer" is pointless nonsense and all does is take up extra space on our servers. Please remove it if you have it on your profile. If you're worried about privacy please set your account to be hidden from non-registered users on your privacy page (this also hides it from search engines but may take a week or two to drop out of search) and remove the notice (and encourage others to do likewise).
Common sense advice would be NOT to put any information on your profile (here, or on any such site) that could identify you or that you don't want to become public! So for your own benefit, don't post phone numbers, real names or email / instant message addresses on your profile that people might see or "Google".
Some people may put non-identifying pics on their public profile but keep face pics private or for friends, for example.

I'm in the minority.
Don't see the point in it.
Saying that since i only looking at couples/females and TV profile i would say a fair share of them have it. |

The disclaimer in reality isn't going to dissuade anyone so why include it. In reality all it does is take space up on fab servers slowing the site down. If you don't want people looking at parts of your profile then don't put it up. Having said that there are some peeps who have twisted it in a tongue in cheek way  |

well I'm not changing my profile for anyone.
my mum didnt spend 2 hours writing it for me so that I could just go and mess with it |

lol - she did a good job too! It wasn't a dig or anything but I have noticed that it's usually in there somewhere! Just an observation really! Z |

's ok Zoe - didnt take it that way.
I guess people are going to try to sell themselves on their good points or points that they think other people will sound attractive and miss out on any points that might be less than that.
So the average height gents will probably just say nothing.
I suppose I could be a bit more honest on my profile and include a few more adjectives:
moody, narcissistic, grumpy, sarcastic, untidy, impatient, demanding, intolerant, self-absorbed.
but that doesnt make me sound nearly as loveable except to those women who like a "project man" lol |

i think its necessary to have your height on your profile. i know it is already in a part of your profile by default, but it just sort of comes out naturally when describing myself |

And quite often a third height in their PM
'tall' does seem to be subjective on a lot of profiles. I get messages from 'tall' guys ranging in height from 5' 8" to 6' 10". |
