Never stayed in a hotel...

Jump to: Newest in thread

Am I the only person who's never stayed in a hotel before?

So many people on here seem to talk about hotel rooms.

The Mr has stayed in plenty via work...

I've never stayed in one in my entire life just to sleep let alone for fun! Starting to think I'm missing out here!

It depends why you're staying if it's for business it can be boring and lonely if it's for pleasure it can be great it's nice to get your breakfast cooked and have someone else make the bed

Must admit, it sounds like it could be fun...

The Mr has stayed in a few where work have sent him somewhere for the day and paid for him to stay overnight. The beds always look huge and comfy!

Maybe I'll look into booking something for sometime in the future then

Being stuck inside 4 walls, with no home comforts has drawbacks too. But it can be refreshing to relax, get away and really unwind. All the better if you get to accomodate meets without them entering your home, and have some great fun.

We only really like hotels for meets as we don't play at home. Other than that though we don't really like them. Would never stay in a hotel for a holiday. After one night I'd go stir crazy.

It's a posh word for a small hotel with tiny rooms but they charge you a fortune to stay there.

I honestly don't think you're missing out on much. Only stayed in 3, one for a meet which was fine and one so I didn't have to stay in hospital while having tests, they were fine just for over night. Stayed in one abroad, hated it. Much prefer a villa for a holiday. I like my home comforts and not just 1 room

Due to some weirdness with work (we only need you out there for 3 months, oh can you do another 3 months etc) I lived in a hotel for two and half years - to be fair it was a five star hotel in Switzerland so not that bad

I had plenty of friends to socialise with and no worries about cooking, laundry or tidying

Titz Towers, North Notts

I don't care much for hotel meets.

When I'm out and about I seem to pass well enough after dusk, but obviously wouldn't stand prolonged scrutiny in good light, such as a hotel lobby and I'm damned if I'm doing the 'tranny in a bag' routine. I like to arrive glammed up.

We like to escape now and again, even if it is fairly local .

We have a hectic house and the ability to just chill out and have as many showers as you want , at their expense , and slob it with alcohol ,food and loads of sex is fab .

Even better if you get another couple to join you .. Hmmm

If you think boutique hotels are over priced you have stayed I'm the wrong ones!?

Seriously coombe abbey is amazing. We had a 4 poster bed. A shower room and then up some stairs there was a curtained area which had a huge double bath.

Also we had a historic suite at thorsby hall and it was as big as our house, again a 4 poster bed a big lounge area.

We treat ourselves to a hotel break a couple of times a year for some us time away from children and everything else.

Really good for your relationship makes you feel spoiled and believe me you won't get bored we spend time focusing on each other that we wouldn't usually have.

Shirty commercial hotels are clinical and you don't get the same atmosphere and you don't feel spoiled.

The OP has never stayed in a hotel and you want to send her to a travel lodge in Coventry?! That will put her off for life!

Get your bloke to splash out and take you to a good hotel somewhere nice, try London for a night out with a show or somewhere nice out in the country. Enjoy yourselves."

Learn to read- coombe abbey in Coventry!!! Google it!!

I then said for meets Travelodges are fine!!!

Sounds great actually! Some us time would be wonderful, not something we really get tbh. Thank you I'll look into the hotel you've recommended

Yes, you definitely deserve to experience it, as it's stress free living, you don't have to clean up, great new bed and pillows for the night etc. There are often bargains to be had - often the best month is January, as people are spent out from Christmas, weather is unpredictable etc. Otherwise, it's always worth a search. Some rooms are twin bedded, or have extra beds, so you could always team up with friends and have a mini break, or orgy.
