I would not dream of justifying anything - I work and earn a living just as my partner does - how we spend it is up to us
PS unless I buy shoes for his pleasure in which case the price is largely irrelevant

Absolutely! and A's biggest saving was £200 on a pair of Jimmy Choos, though I have a feeling he didn't appreciate the bargain he'd just got.
