Last night I watched Kick Arse 2 at work and it was, frankly, rubbish. I wasn't sure if it was meant to be a parody, piss take or what. Every so often it tried to take itself seriously, as in the bit with Iain Glen (good actor), but frankly Mystery Men did the whole crap super heroes thing far better.
It's not the worst sequel, though. In my mind, that is either Ghostbuster's 2, or Robocop 2.

Grease 2. No, no, no! I am a great believer in the law of diminishing returns. While we're at it, can they stop remaking decent films badly please? I got all disappointed when I spotted Bedazzled was on Film4 last weekend only to discover it was that Liz Hurley travesty and not a Pete, Dud or the delectably eyebrowed Miss Bron in sight! |

With you on the remake thing, Hollywood obviously has a lack of imagination lately. Crap reboots of some good, and some terrible old movies. |

Shock Treatment the Rocky Horror Picture Show sequel was abysmal. S.Darko the sequel to Dornie Dark was terrible as was Titanic 2. Although The first Titanic was pants too. If i remember correct Hollowman 2 was shite as well. |

I thought Superman 2 was better than the 1st (the Christopher Reeve ones).
I also rate Aliens to be a better film than the 1st Alien.
