What will people look like a million years from now? The same, or subtle variations?

According to some, guys think with their dicks, so, we'll start messaging with our dicks (as per usual) but screens are getting smaller, so, we'll develop thinner dicks.

There, that should please the ladies!!

Does evolving mean having to grow up?

Central

In a millioo years we will have mastered human genetics, and a range of humans will coexist. One strain will be used for our food, as eating ourselves will be safer than contamination from other species. We will be smaller, as this will have a lower impact on the worlds resources. Little racial difference remains. Main physical changes are internal, so that we can breath contaminated and polluted air, and survive on less food, due to shortages.

Think I personally will be looking a bit haggard by then.

Overpopulation?

Oh, our big bombs will eventually have to sort that one out, which our big brains developed, I guess!!

A Million years?

I'm thinking North Korea and China will have seen to our demise long before that.

Maybe we'll all be reincarnated as cockroaches or radioactive mutant rats!

Einstein was once asked what world war three would be like and he said that he didn't know, but that world war four would be fought with sticks and rocks.

More likely Ebola will get there first.

You're quite possibly right, a disease could quite easily do the job. I know there's a lot of fear surrounding an airbourne mutation of the rabies virus. It is believed that it has the potential to wipe out most, if not all of mankind.

And if it doesn't, we, as a species, are certain to have made our own living environment uninhabitable for ourselves by then.

Not to mention the possibility of meteor strikes, ice ages and all the other natural phenomena that can occur in that kind of geological time scale.

We and our allies would obviously play our part but it's the nation's such as North Korea with all their posturing and threatening behaviour towards their neighbours that will be ultimately responsible for starting it.

The UK and our allies are (mostly) quite regarding our nuclear deterrent and capabilities.

Because most of the population can't be arsed to cook a proper meal every day. How will they have the energy to become energy?!

Yes, but due to the consumers lack of motivation and inability to move beyond the confines of their own armchair most of those calories end up turning to lard in front of the idiot box displaying Jeremy Kyle....

It'll only get worse if McDonald's starts delivering their products.

We won't have evolved, we simply won't exist. There are so many well documented planetery events that are due to take place in the next (relatively) short time span that have the potential to wipe out most life on earth, or at least do it some serious damage so I don't think we'll have a chance to evolve.

If we do, we'll be fat, short and only communicate with text speak because that how its going at the moment.

Energy is energy. Maybe the stored energy will eventually reach the equivalent of critical mass and the bearer will spontaneously combust
