.... At a secluded spot at the top of a cliff and no one can here what is said. You have one hour to sit and talk to one person living, dead or fictional .... who would you sit with and why?

My deceased partner. I'd ask him if he thinks I've done as good a job raising his son as we both would have and if he still wants me to go on loving him as I do.

Why would you want to ask him when its based on Hitler, Just hope he could read it saying as he wasn't very intellectual, so I could read it to him with the help of an interpreter and get his feedback.....and an autograph

My Grandad who passed away when I was 5. I always wondered why he was a grumpy bugger compared to my other Grandad who was always a laugh

I found out he spent most of WW1 in South Africa as a General's driver/batman and when he was demobbed in 1919 he suffered Survivor's Guilt when he realised the huge number of his former friends and acquaintances who were wiped out in the trenches on the Western Front.

I just want to tell him he didn't have to blame himself...

This post is a nice start to the day, seems like everyone wishes there was more time they'd had with someone else!

Mine would be a half-brother who I've never met, to see if we were alike, and see how he is etc.

If I preclude my parents , as I'd love to have just 5 more minutes with both of them.

I'd pick someone like the Dalai Lama, as it would be an interesting & relaxing hour.

My first choice would be my grandparents. They went through so much to get here and in the time we had together we only just scratched the surface (although my aunt's and uncles have filled in some of the gaps).
